The reputation of Italian food is unsurpassed in the world. We all love it! The freshness of the tomatoes, cheeses and olive oil are enough to make our mouths water. Imagine starting each day with fresh baked pastries, locally made yogurt, fresh fruits and delicious locally roasted coffee. After some activities or exploration, you will have a casual buffet style lunch of regional pastas, cheese, meats and salads. Dinner is leisurely: We will be served a 3-4 course Italian meal, paired with regional and amazing wines. Oftentimes we dine under the stars with a panoramic view of the Umbrian valley. Alessandra Benassi is our Private Chef. She started her culinary journey about 25 years ago, working in various restaurants and earning her chef’s title. Recently, she has been dedicating her time to private clients .
She chooses traditional recipes but adds a touch of creativity! Chef Alessandra’s cooking follows the traditional Mediterranean style but also includes typical Tuscan dishes. You will be able to taste such specialities as roast pork loin (arista) flavored with orange and baked vegetables or small vegetables (sformatini) like those made from zucchini served with a fondue of pecorino cheese from the Sienese hills and local black truffles. Chef Alessandra’s deserts highlight her unique and amazing baking skills! She is offering private cooking classes at the villa during your stay. You will be spoiled and delighted!
